Led by industry pioneers Govind Ekbote and Neel Ekbote, the company seamlessly blends multi-generational craftsmanship with modern engineering, automation, and German wood-technology expertise.

EFP has delivered landmark hospitality projects across India, including Hyatt, Hilton, Westin, Club Mahindra, and Yak & Yeti, demonstrating its ability to execute high-pressure, high-spec projects with precision, durability, and reliability. With over 35 years of expertise in the furniture and timber industry, Govind Ekbote has been a cornerstone in the growth and success of Ekbote Furniture and Projects. His mastery covers the entire spectrum of manufacturing—from procurement to finishing—with a specialization in customized furniture, turnkey interiors, hospitality projects, and wooden homes.

Over the years, he has spearheaded and delivered landmark hospitality projects such as Hyatt Lucknow, Hyatt Regency Mumbai & Kochi, Hilton Shilim, Club Mahindra Shimla & Goa, and Westin Pune, among many others—each setting new benchmarks in quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.

Neel Ekbote

Neel Ekbote is the visionary co-founder of Ekbote Furniture and Projects, carrying forward the proud legacy of the Ekbote family — renowned in furniture manufacturing for over six decades. With a Master’s Degree in Wood Technology from Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences, Germany, Neel brings strong expertise in engineering design, manufacturing, and automation within the furniture and timber industry.

His core strengths lie in combining advanced production technologies with traditional craftsmanship, ensuring precision, efficiency, and enduring quality.

Through Ekbote Furniture and Projects, Neel’s vision is to create sustainable living spaces that blend functionality with design, redefining luxury through wooden cottages, pergolas, and gazebos that connect people with nature.

Lead Interior Designer

Aishwarya Ekbote

Aishwarya Ekbote is the Lead Interior Designer at Ekbote Furniture and Projects, where she spearheads the creative direction and execution of bespoke interior projects. A graduate of Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture, Pune, she brings together a strong academic foundation with hands-on industry experience.

She believes that well-designed spaces go beyond visual appeal—they are intuitive, purposeful, and thoughtfully tailored to the people who inhabit them. Driven by a deep passion for interiors and a keen eye for detail, Aishwarya approaches every project with a considered balance of aesthetics, functionality, and craftsmanship.
